Ladder Golf Rules

Ladder golf is played with 2 or more players or teams. Each player has 3 bolos, a bolo consists of 2 golf balls that are attached by a rope. The object is to toss the bolo at the ladder and wrap it around one of the rungs. The ladder has 3 rungs.
Setting up the game:

Setup your toss line around 15 feet away from each ladder, this can be shortened to allow easier play for children. This will be your "toss line".

Game Play:

Ladder golf is played in rounds, each player will toss 3 bolos during the round. Each player must toss all 3 bolos before the next player begins his/her turn. A coin toss or a single bolo toss can be used to determine who will begin the game.
The bolos can be tossed anyway the player chooses, but each bolo must be tossed one by one. The bolos may be bounced off the ground, if the player chooses.

Each rung of the ladder has a point value:

Top Rung: 3 Points
Middle Rung: 2 Points
Bottom Rung: 1 Point

A bonus point is awarded to players who hang all three bolos on the same rung or one bolo per rung. The maximum possible points per player per round is 10.

The score for the round is calculated after all players have tossed there bolos. Players are encouraged to knock the opponents bolos off of the ladder. Bolos that are knocked off the ladder score no points.

The game is played until one person or team reaches 21 points. Players or teams must get exactly 21 points to win the game. For example: if a player has 15 points and scores a total of 8 points for the round the points do not count and play continues. If at the end of the round the players are tied at 21 points the game will continue until one player is 2 points ahead of there opponent at the end of the round.

These rules are only guidelines and can be modified in any way to suit each individuals needs.

What is the ruling on the rope is wrapped around the whit side poles? There are two different ways I have seen the rope wrap: 1) the rope is first wrapped around the top, middle, or bottom ladder and then further wraps around the white side; 2) the rope is completely wrapped around the white side. How are points awarded or not awarded in both of these situations? Thank you to anyone who can help!
